Aragonite Cabochons are cut from a calcium-carbonite mineral that was first discovered in Spain. Though Aragonite comes in many colors beyond the standard warm yellow, the yellow color is most often seen in jewelry. Aragonite may be unstriped and a fairly consistent semi-translucent yellow, or may have wavy stripes of white.
