Labradorite Cabochons are some of our most popular cabochon gems. Labradorite is a type of feldspar that can be found in Labrador (Canada) and other parts of the world. At it's prettiest, Labradorite is a light or dark grey color with highly visible irridescent flashes of color ranging from blue to copper, silver, and orange. Labradorite may also contain black or grey inclusions of organic matter.

Cutting Labradorite cabochons to take full advantage of the color flashes found in various slabs is difficult as the flashes tend to only appear fully from one direction.
