Moss Agate Cabochons are cut from a type of agate which mixes green mossy patterns in a clear agate base. Black moss agate also exists, though it is not as common as the green moss agate. The amound of green varies widely from piece to piece, with some stones being predominantly clear, and others nearly all 'moss'.
