Picture Jasper Cabochons are cut from a type of opaque jasper that is usually a mix of tans, browns, and black speckles. Sometimes it is also referred to as Desert Jasper or Landscpe Jasper. The patterns of this lovely stone vary greatly from stone to stone, and may resemble landscape drawings of mountains or desert bluffs.
