Pietersite Cabochons are cut from a type of quartz stone that is found in Africa and China. The quartz has often been folded or broken and fractured and contains chaoticly swirled and fragmented fibers of tiger eye in several colors. Colors may range from gold, brown, bronze, to red or blue. Due to the variable nature of Pietersite, each cabochon will vary in colors and patterns present.
