Unikite (also spelled Unakite) is a type of granite that originally was discovered in North Carolina. It is usually pinkish coral red and olive green, though the exact shades of the material can vary into more brick red or brighter greens. The pink portion of unikite is a type of feldspar while the green generally is green epidote. Some people use Epidote and Unikite interchangeably to refer to the same stone.
