Starting in 2003 and running through 2007, Brandywine Jewelry Supply's website was host to a forum which included many user-contributed jewelry-making tutorials, tips and ideas in the art of wire-jewelry making, as well as many articles on glass-making, beading, jewelry marketing, and jewelry photography.

When the original forum eventually became inactive, we hoped to maintain the archives of the forum as a valuable resource for those new to the art of jewelry making as well as more experienced jewelry designers just looking for a little inspiration.

A Temporary Haitus of the Jewelry-Making Archive

Unfortunately the bulletin board software on which the forum was originally hosted did not receive further code development by the original code team, and so it was necessary in mid-2010 to take the forum down for a period of time due to security issues. Since that time we have been looking for a way to migrate all of this valuable jewelry-making expertise from the many posts and tutorials that were originally contributed by our forum users to another forum application where it would be accessible and secure.

Returning The Jewelry-Making Archive to the Online Community

November 2011: After a huge effort, our IT department has once again made it possible to return the jewelry making forum archives to our website for the benefit of people interested in jewelry crafts everywhere.

The new bulletin board software we have chosen to host the archive is PhpBB, one of the most widely used forum applications currently in use today. We think you'll love it.

You can find the posts of the old forum under 'Resources > Jewelry Making Forum Archives' in the top navigation bar. There are tons of buried treasures of jewelry-craft knowledge for you to find. Get fresh ideas for your projects, and learn new skills from jewelers passionate about their art!
